Each school in the Lauderdale County School System will be hosting a drive-thru food pickup on Friday, May 1, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
According to a statement from the school system, “This is a way we can give back to our communities. We will be providing food bags to anyone 18 years of age and younger.”
The statement continued, “Thank you to Child Nutrition Program Supervisor Lori Ferguson, our CNP staff, and volunteers.”
This will be a one-day-only drive-up service, available at each school campus in the district (excluding Allen Thornton Career Technical Center).
