The first North Alabama Christmas Market is planned for Saturday and Sunday, December 3-4, at The Cotton Gin event center in Rogersville.
This event will feature a number of actors from two of the most beloved shows in television history: “Little House on the Prairie” and “The Waltons.”
Organizers have confirmed Dean Butler (Almanzo Wilder), Charlotte Stewart (Miss Beadle), Wendi Lou Lee (Baby Grace Ingalls), Pamela Roylance (Sarah Carter) and Patrick Labyorteaux (Andy Garvey) from “Little House on the Prairie,” along with Leslie Winston (Cindy), Eric Scott (Ben), Mary Beth McDonough (Erin) and Tammi (Reen Christie) Bula (Marcia Woolery, John-Boy’s first girlfriend) from “The Waltons.”
The market will feature a large number of vendors both indoors and outside on the grounds; crafts and food; live music and more.
Hours will be 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on December 3, 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on December 4.
Admission is $10 (free for children 12 and younger).
In addition to autograph/picture sessions, there will be special opportunities to fellowship with the special guests — “Breakfast with the ‘Little House’ Cast Members,” “Breakfast with the ‘Waltons’ Cast Members,” and a special “Waltons 50th Anniversary Dinner.”
Additionally, the event will feature awareness/fundraising opportunities benefiting Shoals CASA, the ADC Junior Bicycle Giveaway, Connie’s Soldiers from the Justice for Connie Ridgeway initiative, and more.
The Cotton Gin at Roberson Farms is located at 6810 County Road 91 (Lamb’s Ferry Road), Rogersville.
