Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 an election for the purpose of electing a Mayor and Town Council for the Town of Anderson, Alabama, will be held and that all registered and qualified electors of the state, who reside within the corporate limits of the Town of Anderson, and have resided therein for 30 days or more immediately preceding the date of such election, and who are qualified to vote in the county precinct which embraces and covers that part of the corporate limits of the municipality in which the elector resides, will be authorized to participate in said election.

• COUNCIL MEMBER, PLACE 3
• COUNCIL MEMBER, PLACE 4
• COUNCIL MEMBER, PLACE 5
The polls will be open at the Anderson Town Hall, 7262 Highway 207, Anderson, Alabama from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on August 26, 2025. If necessary, a run-off election will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Any qualified elector who will have resided within the municipality for a period of at least 90 days on Election Day may qualify to run for office by filing the appropriate forms with the Town of Anderson Town Clerk and paying any appropriate fees as set by Ordinance No. 07-14-08 ($10.00 for Mayor and $10.00 for Council Member).
Qualifying begins on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. Qualifying shall end at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
