A joint news conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, to announce the state’s “Roadmap to Reopening Alabama Schools.”
Scheduled to take part in the news conference are Alabama State Superintendent of Education Dr. Eric Mackey and State Health Officer Dr. Scott Harris.
The purpose is to “provide guidance to all local school leaders, communities, parents and students statewide” regarding reopening schools for fall 2020.
The news conference will take place at the State Department of Education (Gordon Persons Building auditorium) in Montgomery.
