Tuesday deadline to choose Lauderdale County Virtual School option

The Lauderdale County School System is providing an opt-in virtual school option for the 2020-2021 school year.

The deadline for choosing the Lauderdale County Virtual School is Tuesday, July 28.

Virtual school enrollment will be a semester-long commitment.

The district notes that “return-to-school this year is very different from other years, please remember that the situations are very fluid and require us to be flexible.

“Changes will continue to be made in our plan as new information is available from the Alabama Department of Public Health and the Alabama State Department of Education.’

“LCSS will follow the orders from the Office of Governor Kay Ivey.”
