A “Bridging the Gap” unity rally, organized by Southside Church of Christ and Minister John Malone, is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday, June 28, at Rogersville Recreation Park.
The purpose of the rally is to “promote racial harmony and positive/productive community relations.”
Scheduled speakers include Rogersville Mayor Richard Herston, Alex Bayes (Rogersville Church of Christ) and Minister Malone.
The keynote speaker will be Evangelist Marcus T. Watkins, of Atlanta.
Inspirational singing will be provided by Southside Church of Christ’s Committed a cappella chorus.
Food will be available courtesy of Whitt’s Barbecue.
